Stridulfur is headed by the chieftain. the chieftain is elected on a yearly basis, and answers to the council.
About the current chieftain:
chieftain wolf is the founder and first chieftain of stridulfur. he founded stridulfur in
2020, and has served as its chieftain ever since. he has been re-elected by stridulfur's
members 3 years in a row.
chieftain wolf has been a practicing member of the old norse faith for 5 years, an avid
outdoorsman and athlete, chief wolf has spent his teenage years in youth leadership as
well as many other extracurricular activities. his passion is stridulfur, and he is currently
pursuing it while still being a student. he has grown with stridulfur since its founding,
as have many other senior members of the group. he hopes to establish stridulfur as an
organization that will outlive him, but hopes to establish his legacy with stridulfur.
with hopes that maybe someday his sons will be able to serve stridulfur as he did.
the council
made up of elected members, the council is the backbone of stridulfur's leadership.
a short history of the council:
The stridulfur council was first founded in 2020 by chieftain wolf. created with the intent of keeping the chieftain in check, it was first made up of the highest ranking members in the group's leadership. though after reforms in 2021, when everyone including the chieftain were stripped of rank, the council was reformed and made up of new volunteer members. this council served until 2023, when stridulfur decided to become a company.
role of the council:
the council has been established as a strong element of stridulfurs leadership. the chieftain usually consulting the council before making important decisions for stridulfur. the council is made up of full, active members of stridulfur who are elected to the council after volunteering. the council serves as a unified body of leadership for stridulfur. council members are dedicated members of stridulfur who maintain the integrity and honor of stridulfur. being a member of council gives no power, and there is no financial insentive for council members. the council shares power with the chieftain, and serves stridulfur.
however, in 2024, after choosing to become a business, stridulfur has undergone a lot of change. as the trail to becoming a stridulv is still being paved, and stridulfur continues to build itself. the traditional council can not be formed. thus, the 1st provisional volunteer council has been formed, and currently serves stridulfur until a permanent council is formed.
